Lost in Azeroth, Chapter 1: Identity, Part 2
“Clarissa, get off that computer!” The 16-year old girl heard her mother yelling from downstairs. She looked at the clock to her right and realized that she had been on longer than the allotted time that she could. She should have been asleep right now, but her addiction to World of Warcraft pressed on, and now it was time to face her punishment. Her face not showing the faintest signs of emotion, she headed down the stairs to face her mother’s wrath.
Ten minutes later, she limped up to her room and strained to get her pajamas on. The lashings had been exceptionally painful today, and she much rather woul

Lost in Azeroth, Chapter 1: Identity, Part 1
Assiralc and her companions ran fast from the dragon approaching them. Scars obliterated any grace that the young elf might have at the moment, but those were only temporary. The four elves were on a simple mission to gather some rare herbs, and were not informed that there was a dragon in the vicinity. While they collected the plants, that were already damp with the moisture that grew on the inside of the caves, the dragon must have been returning to its lair, and upon finding the trespassers inside, rendered them a tasty morsel. So, he attacked, taking its prey by complete surprise. It was in the scrap fight out of their mess that
What am I doing here? I ask myself, knowing full well the answer. I am here because of my own wrongdoings. I stare at the big double doors of the hospital; waiting for someone to tell me it’s all right, that I’ll see her again. It’s far too quiet in here. Is it just me or am I more alone than I ever have been? The double doors walk open and the nurse scans the room for its only occupant. Noticing me, she begins striding towards me. Seeing my panic-stricken face, she lets her expression show an aura of gentleness, which I appreciate.
“Are you with her?” She asks, knowing I understand what she’s talking abou

A New Life Chapter 1: Saved, Part 1
Jayne relaxed her muscles as she lay comfortably against the brick wall behind her, shutting her eyes in an attempt to shut out the world around her. The late-evening commute was the only thing making any noise anymore. Most people were at home, comfortable in their own beds, readying up for the next day, but not her. No, she was perfectly content with a knapsack as a pillow and her own sweatshirt as a blanket.
The streets were nothing unfamiliar to her. She’d lived on them most of her life and near them all of it. She had prepared herself to live forever. The memories of her mother’s tears were still fresh in her mind, but she
Surrounded by nothing
But the sights and sounds of nothing
Perched on the edge of humanity
And slowly falling off
I brace myself
Expecting to feel the air that isn’t there to rush past my face
But getting nothing
I look up
And see nothing
I am lost in the depths of nothing
The mocking glares of God burning holes in the back of my neck
I scream with all my might
But nobody hears me
I choke as I realize that there is no air to breathe
And I hear the cursed god above me laugh as I slowly fade away
Your whole world crumbles down
There is no one by your side
Love the hate and terror
Or it will bury you alive
With every thrust you manage
You put your training to the test
Fighting for your very life
Never a moment to rest
Run away
Take my hand
You're not alone
Together we stand
Stumble upon the broken body
Of your mother where she lays
All your courage leaves your body
With your righteous alibis
Run away
Take my hand
You're not alone
Together we stand
Don't slow down
We must make haste
Never look back
No time to waste
The smile on her face was enough to light the stars
The warmness of her voice could relax the angriest of tyrants
To see her go is almost more than I can take
For I have lost a true friend, and I doubt to ever have her back
Maybe she'll return...
In all of her grace and peace
And give us all another chance
To bask in the depths of her care and compassion
Something that I'm sure we will all grow to miss
She will never be forgotten
Her legacy will remain forever in our heads and in our hearts
And that will never change
To forget would be a crime above all crimes
It would deny her the respect she truly deserves
Goodbye, friend. You will be misse
I'm sorry I'm not perfect
It just wasn't meant to be
The heartache I deserved
Has brought me to my knees
I don't get how you walk away
And leave me here to bleed
But the feelings that I had for you
Were never make-believe
Sometimes I still cry at night
In sadness and in fear
Bringing back the memories
I will forever hold dear
With every thought I have of you
I shed another tear
You don't know what it's like
To just want to disappear
Stuck alone in a corner
I see the lights grow dim
Don't ask me why I cut so deep
I did it on a whim
The image of the knife in my chest
Is a vision rather grim
And you will be forever blamed
When in pools of bloo
A flood of memories
A field of broken dreams
A web of city streets
One true love I'll never meet
Still I hear people say
Fortune will come my way
But be that as it may
A lonely man I stay
Stay alive, I do
Through troubles old and new
Now I present to you
My anthem of solitude

Is this what is has come to?
Empty promises
Broken dreams
Shattered hopes
Kind of makes you think...
Had God intended this along?
All the suffering
And the pain
And the grief
That every human being suffers.
Why would he hate me so?
What had I done to infuriate such a great being?
It's the world conspiring against me.
Every day is another disappointment.
Another chance for the world to show off its power.
Against me.
Nobody else.
Just me.
As if I'm deserving of such hatred
I'm not.
I don't think
I need answers.
Am I as bad as I'm made out to be?
I feel my heart pounding in my throat.
Every thought making me sicker.
And sicker.
And weaker.

Blood of the Damned Chapter 1 - Trapped, Part 2
Derek pounded against the edge of the field with all his might, trying to escape, but to no avail. This was a force field. He had no way of getting out, and by the looks of it, his friends had no way of getting in. Lisa, one of his most trusted friends, stood in front of him, trying to reach out to him. Her lips were moving in some sort of scream but nothing got to him. To let her know, he put his hands up to his ears, shaking his head. Remembering what he was up against, Derek turned back around to face the monster. He drew his swords, knowing he had to fight his way out of here.
He lunged at it, swinging both swords cross-body to ensure a

The Perfect Disaster (Chapter 1)
Chapter 1
I wish I could say which year it is, but I started losing track after the day that it all happened. December 21, 2042, the day that was predicted the world was going to end by unknown causes. Many predicted that there was going to be a solar flare to strike the Earth and reverse the magnetic poles; others predicted that there was going to be a 'Demon Armageddon', but none of these predictions came true. No, in fact, the world didn't come to a halt from natural causes. It was because of the human race itself. "START" and "START II" both had ended, so we were no longer on good terms with Ruthenia (previously Russia). Not to mention,

Hey. My name is Bradford. I am a typical 15 year old writer. I don't tend to do much but play video games and write. I love fantasy. I read and write it and I'm proud to say so. I can stretch my writing out of my comfort zone, so please give me suggestions. As I've mentioned, I take suggestions. Give me suggestions, and i'll write about just about anything :) Anyways, if you want to know more, message me.
Hey everybody. I'd like to announce that I am making a new account, under the name DesignedDespair (https://www.deviantart.com/designeddespair). Please watch it. I just, for some unknown reason, feel the need to switch, so I am. I do still intend to write :) And you will see my work on this account.

"The Fight"
The problem with society's been how do we teach
And if they'll believe.
We'll fight this battle for years to come
'Til we all accept that we can stand on our own.
Grandfather used his hands, he worked them to the bone.
Provide his family with a happy home, alone.
Don't take your aggression out on me.
My own man is all I'm meant to be.
This common place is so lazy, old, and tired
All your ideas are so fucking uninspired.
Takes more than one idea
More than one person to fight the fight
How many times have you taught and not conspired?
You don't wanna be, they never say
But don't call us the liars
We've walked these a
